A pair of geometric cufflinks designed by Arthur King.

One-of-a-kind pair of geometric cufflinks, designed by the master iconic jeweler Arthur King in New York city, back in the 1960; They was carefully crafted by the lost-wax method, in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with highly textured surfaces. They are suited with a fixed toggle, treated with the same patterns. 

The design of this brutalism pair was inspired by the the sculptural walls of the Inca fortress called Sacsayhuaman located in Cuzco Peru.

This pair have a total weight of 24.60 grams and a measures of 20 mm by 15 mm.

Stamped, with the Arthur King monogram maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed, "AK 18 KT".

                

Arthur king, was a renowned American master jeweler located in New York city that work between the 1960 and 1970. His most notorious was the using of lost wax technique to set gemstones in a naturalistic form. He had shops in New York, Paris, Miami, London and la Havana. All his jewelry is avidly collected and mostly all items are one of a kind, never mass produced. His jewelry is held at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Moma, the New York natural history and many others.
