A pair of earrings designed by Angela Cummings.

Graceful vintage pair of earrings designed back in the 1984 by Angela Cummings at her studios in New York city. They are a playful and youthful pieces, crafted in solid 18 karats of polished yellow gold and suited, with posts for pierced ears (Removable) and comfortable omega backs for fastening clips.

They are embellished with multiples geometrical cut carvings of white nacre, creating a beautiful asymmetric patterns. 

The weight of this pair is 16.7 grams and the measures are 24 mm by 29 mm (0.95 x 1.14 Inches).

Both are stamped at the reverse, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed in full "ANGELA CUMMINGS 1986 18 K".

Angela Cummings was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.

A very nice and rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.

This pair is in impeccable perfect condition.
