Jeweled cocktail ring in platinum.

An elegant classical semi-ballerina cocktail ring crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum, with very high polished surfaces.

Mounted in the center in a four-prongs setting, with an oval cut (9.62 x 7.56 x 4.21 mm) of a natural Pigeon Blood ruby of 2.62 carats,

Accented at the sides, with 6 round brilliant cuts (0.34 Cts) and around, with 38 straight and tapered baguettes (1.12 Cts), all calibrated, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.

Have a weight of 13.95 Grams and the actual size is 6.5, sizeable. The top view measures are 22 mm by 18 mm and raise 9 mm over the finger

It is stamped inside the shank, with the detailed weight of the gemstones and the platinum assay hallmark, "PT .900 D 1.46 R 2.62".

Collateral: This ring is accompanied by the AIGS certificate report number GF21040119 stating the Ruby in this ring is a natural Pigeon blood of 2.62 carats.

Note: Pigeon Blood rubies is the term applied to the most highly saturated colour and natural red fluorescence possible in a ruby. The term is said to have originated from Burma, where locals call the finest and most vivid rubies ko-twe meaning “pigeon's blood.” Other sources claim that the perfect ruby is also the color of the central point of a pigeon's eye.
