Unusual shakers set designed by Robert Wallace & Sons.
A beautiful set of 6 salt & pepper shakers, designed during the WWII period, circa 1940's. They was crafted with patriotic motifs in the shape of bullets in solid .925/.999 sterling silver, with high polish finish.
They have a combined weight of 71.8 grams and a measurements of 56 mm by 22 mm (2.21 x 0.87 inches).
Each one is stamped, with the deer assay hallmarks, the model, serially numbered and signed, "RW & S STERLING 207".
Robert wallace & sons, (born 1835) was formed in wallingford Connecticut and incorporated in 1879. As of 1893, this company manufactured silver and plated ware and cutlery.
Note: Very rare and elusive patriotic pieces made by this american silversmith company.
They are in perfect vintage condition with no bums, dents or previous repairs.
