Pair of German mechanical musicians designed by Schuco.

This is a wonderful pair of mechanical musicians created in Nuremberg Germany by the Schuco company, back in the 1920. They are in great condition and have been crafted with parts made up in celluloid, steel and fabrics. They have been tested and the mechanical winding is properly working. They are presented in in customized urns made of wood and glass. They display wonderful and should be a great conversation piece.

Schuco

Schuco is a German brand and former manufacturing company founded in 1912 by Heinrich Müller and the businessman Heinrich Schreyer in Nuremberg, popularly known as Germany's toy capital. The company's specialty was making toy reproductions of cars and trucks in tin, plastic and die-cast. The company went bankrupt in 1976 but was later reorganized and acquired by the Simba Dickie Group in 1999. Schuco continues to produce a range of models, including classic and contemporary vehicles in various scales.

Measurements: Each one is 114 mm by 64 mm by 89 mm (4.5 x 2.5 x 3.5 Inches).

Hallmarks: They are both stamped with the maker's mark and marked, on sides of feet as follows: "SCHUCO PATENT MADE IN GERMANY".

Collateral: These Schuco mechanical musicians are accompanied by customized presentations urns in bombe glass and wood and the keys.

ConditionThe overall condition of these Schuco musicians are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings. This pair was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
