CARTIER 1970 Bombé Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Gold With Sapphires & Diamonds
Domed bombé cocktail ring designed by Cartier.
This is a fabulous domed bombé cocktail ring created by the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the late 1960's early 1970's. The ring is extremely rare and has been made up with great symmetry as a bombé dome, crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished finish. It is embellished with a great assortment of ninety natural earth mined gemstones, such white colorless diamonds and vivid royal blue sapphires. One side is mount with white colorless diamonds and the other with vivid royal blue sapphires.

Diamonds: Mount in pavé settings, with 50 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of about 6.40 carats, white colorless E color, VVS-1 clarity.
Sapphires: Mount in pavé settings, with 40 calibrated round brilliant cut blue sapphires, with a total weight of about 5.60 carats.
Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September.
Weight: 18.2 Grams, (10.68 Dwt).
Size: 7-12 and may be easily sized up or down on special request. The ring is fitted with an inner spring ring for sizing adjustments.
Measurements: 29 mm by 16 mm (Inches) and raise 11 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the six-digits serial numbers and signed as follows, "CARTIER .750 720790".
