Art Deco 1930 Platinum Ring With A 9.08 Cts Russian Amethyst And Diamonds

Art deco ring with gemstones.

A colorful beautiful piece, created during the Art Deco period, circa 1930. It was crafted in solid .900.999 platinum and .100/.999 iridium and mounted with great gemstones.

Embellished on top in a four-prongs setting with a fancy modified oval cushioned cut (16 x 8 x 5 mm) of a natural vivid purple Russian Amethyst of 8.48 carats.

Accented at the sides, with a pave setting of 12 old European round cut diamonds, 0.60 carats, F color, VS/SI clarity.

Has a total weight of 6.2 Grams and the actual size is 6, sizeable. The top view measures are 16 mm by 20 mm.
