Massive pendant designed by Robert Whiteside (1950-2006).

Magnificent one of a kind piece, created by Robert Whiteside with Etruscan revival  motifs. This three-dimensional massive pendant has been crafted in solid yellow and white gold of 18 karats with frosted and polished finishes. Suited with a movable opening enhancer bale of 8 mm to wear in a chain or a beaded necklace.

Gemstone: The main drop gemstone is a fancy multi-faceted rectangular briolette of a natural swiss sky blue topaz with a weight of 168.57 carats.

Diamonds: The upper part is bezel set with 4 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.51 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.

Weight: 53.35 Grams (34.19 Dwt).

Measurements: 31 mm by 72 mm (1.22 x 2.84 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed by the artist, "WHITESIDE 18KT".

Robert Whiteside, was an American-born artist and jeweler based in Dallas, was known for his recreations of Faberge items for royalty and celebrities. His talents extended well beyond that of an artist; many considered him a modern Renaissance man. He was a musician, painter, chef, pilot, and a restaurant owner on his bed and breakfast, the Veranda.  Whiteside's works have been granted as Gifts from the Reagan Administration, which also held a collection. The President Ronald Reagan gave his work as gifts of state and also owned some of Whiteside's pieces. Lady Bird Johnson also owned some of his pieces. Other owners included royalty of Japan, Sweden, and the prime ministers of West Germany and France, among others. Whiteside's larger eggs have been valued up to $50,000.-. All his pieces are one-of-a-kind.
