French 1970 Modernist Brooch In Textured 18Kt Yellow Gold With Tiger Eye Quartz
French geometric modernist brooch.
Beautiful three-dimensional piece, created in Paris France back in the 1970. This ultra modernist brooch has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with highly textured finish and is suited with a hinged vertical pin bar and a trombone safety lock. The design is very elusive and intriguing, is composed by multiples cushion shaped squares, that are placed together without no apparent order giving an optical effect of movement.
Thirteen of this elements are mounted with fancy cushioned cabochon cut of natural tiger eye quartz with a combined weight of 6.98 carats.

Stamped with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche SF and signed, "SF .750".
