Gemstones bracelet designed by Haroldo Burle Marx (1911-1991).

An sculptural geometric piece from the Brazilian concretism art movement, created by the artist-jeweler Haroldo Burle Marx.

This is an unique one-of-a-kind piece crafted in the early 1970's in solid 18 karats of textured yellow gold. The entire surface is finished, with the characteristic Marx's Florentine pattern. It is suited with a push lock and a hinged slash 8 for extra security.

This bracelet is composed by 8 geometric squared links, embellished with 18 bezels, set with gradated round cabochon cuts gemstones, all of them are the highest quality, are natural and Brazilian origins. 

They are distributed as; 4 green tourmaline (16 cts), 2 blue tourmaline (2 cts), 2 blue aquamarine (1 cts), 3 red rubellite (1,5 cts), 1 orange citrine (0.50 cts), 3 green emerald (1.35 cts), 3 violet amethyst (4.65  cts).

The total combined weight of all gemstones is 27 carats and all have great color saturation, with excellent clarity,

Have a total weight of 67.5 grams and a length of 7 inches (17.75 Cm).

Stamped, with the company logo, the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed. "BURLE MARX 18 KT BRASIL GB 791".

This piece have an obvious collaboration between three big names of the Brazilian arts; Haroldo Burle Marx (1911-1991) the designer and jeweler with galleries in brazil and Washington DC., Bruno Guidi the master chief goldsmith and lead designer of Burle Marx and finally Roberto Burle Marx (1909-1994), Haroldo's brother, designer and a landscape architect.
