Dotted bangle designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co.

This unusual bangle was part of the Tiffany & Co. collection from the years of 1975 and 1976. Commonly known as the Dalmatian bangle, was crafted by Angela Cummings in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and was only produced in very limited quantities. The design is perfectly round and shows multiple oval shaped pieces carved from natural black jade inlaid in the gold.

Weight: 37.5 grams (24.03 Dwt).

Size: Fit a wrist up to 7.75 Inches (20 Cm).

Measurements: Have a thickness of 8 mm (0.32 Inch).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's marks, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed; "©TIFFANY & CO. .750 HONG KONG".

Angela Cummings was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.

A very nice and rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.

ConditionThe overall condition of this bangle is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All jade gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
