Bracelet cuff designed by Aldo Cipullo for Cartier.
Very rare and unpublished piece created by the iconic Aldo Cipullo for the house of Cartier in New York city, back in the 1970's. This sleek elegant bracelet cuff has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and fitted with a flexible hinge as a closure system.
Gemstones: Both ends are mount with scalloped fluted elements carved from natural black onyx.
Weight: 30.80 Grams, (19.74 Dwt).
Measurements: Inside diameter is 6.3 Inches (16 Cm) and the width is 16.5 mm (0.65 Inch).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark, the serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER 18KT A. CIPULLO 17743".
Aldo Cipullo (1942-1984), was an Italian born jeweler. He born and was raise in a family of designers with jewelry traditions, his father was the owner of a jewelry factory and his brother Renato Cipullo made jewelry designs for Christian Dior. Aldo, was the creator of the popular and iconic Cartier bracelets, love and the nail, still until today considered ones of the best designs of the 20th century. He work as a designer in New York, for David Webb (1960-1969) and Cartier (1969-1975). In 1975 he found his own company as a freelance designer.

Note: We cannot track any other bracelet like this. The geometry and the placement of the gemstones suggest the production period of early 1970's.
Collateral: It is accompanied by the designer's presentation jewelry pouch and the service paperwork from Cartier archives.
Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. Both onyxes are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
