Magnifique bracelet designed by Angela Cummings.

Gorgeous one-of-a-kind sculptural piece, created by Angela Cummings at her own studio in New York city, back in the 1983. The intricate design is inspired by the nature. Made with organic patterns simulating roots, tree ropes and tree trunks. It is composed of two curved elements, graduated in thickness and connected by invisible hinges which give continuity to the patterns.

Weight: 117.35 Grams, (75.22 Dwt).

Size: Fit a wrist up to 7 inches (18 Cm).

Measurements: The average width is 17 mm (0.67 Inch).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the early maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed, "©CUMMINGS 18 KT".

Angela Cummings, was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.

This rare necklace is a very nice collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.

Note: The old millennial method of "Cie Perdue" or lost wax method is which a tiny was sculpture is converted to a clay form mold. then the mold is heated until the wax flows out and then is filled with gold. the mold is broken to release the piece, with the result that each cast piece is one-of-a-kind and unique like this piece.

Note: Matching bracelets and earrings has been also produced, with this patterns. This piece was retailed at the Bergdorf Goodman stores, in New York city.

Note: We have in our other listings, the matching necklace en suite.

Collateral: This is accompanied by the designer's original presentation jewelry pouch.

Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
