Medium left bone cuff designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2021) for Tiffany & Co.
This sculptural cuff is one of the very first made and the most iconic designs, created by Elsa Peretti for the Tiffany studios and from the 20th century jewelry designs. This model was originally created in the 1970's and it was carefully crafted in solid .925/1000 sterling silver with bold curved borders and high polished finish. The free form was conceived to fit the right wrist bone.
Weight: 79.30 grams (50.83 Dwt.).
Measures: Width of 53 mm (2.09 inches) and a lenght of 135 mm (2.5 inches).
Size: Fit a wrist up to 6.75 inches (17 Cm).
Hallmarks: Stamped, with the maker's mark, the year of production, the assay hallmark and signed in full, "PERETTI 1978 TIFFANY & CO. STERLING .925 ITALY".

She was an important and iconic American designer that joined Tiffany & Co in the 1974 and change the role of diamonds and color gemstones in fashion for the everyday wear and elevating the status of the sterling silver jewelry. mostly using unusual gemstones and materials. all her creations are as modern today as ever.
Note: This is one of the very early vintage models created, is thicker, larger and more heavier than the ones produced later.
