Rare pair of round clips on earrings, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Fred Joaillier, back in the 1970's. This pair has been crafted in solid textured yellow gold of 18 karats and fitted with a hinged French omega backs for fastening clips. The surfaces are embellished with application of hot enamel simulating the panther spots patterns.
Weight: 38.95 Grams, (24.96 Dwt).
Measurements: A diameter of 37 mm (1.46 Inches) and a thickness of 8 mm (0.32 Inch).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with French marks; the eagle head for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre mark Ste. G. (Societe G.) inside a lozange cartouche and signed in full, "FRED PARIS 18KT FRANCE .750 Ste. G.".
