An exceptional pendant-brooch in the shape of an orchid flower, created in America during the Art Nouveau period, back in the 1900. This brooch is a little gem and has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with satin frosted finish and embellished with applications of opalescent polychromed glass enamel. The brooch is fitted at the reverse with a hinged pin bar and a security hook to be wear. Can be also displayed in a chain as pictured. The enamel work is exceptional and meticulous, far exceeding the details of the fibers and veins of the leaves. It is a little jewel with exquisite and exceptional details.
